By accessing or using this website, creating an account, purchasing a membership, registering for events, or purchasing advertising, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These Terms apply to all parts of the site, including the Florida Angus Association (FAA) and the Florida Junior Angus Association (FJAA).
1. Use of the Website
This website is provided to support FAA and FJAA membership, events, advertising, and association activities. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with others’ use of the site.
2. Membership Terms
A. General Membership Rules
- Memberships are annual, non-transferable, and not pro-rated.
- Membership benefits apply only to the individual or entity registered.
- FAA reserves the right to verify eligibility for any membership.
B. FJAA Memberships & Eligibility
- FJAA memberships are subject to age eligibility rules.
- Eligibility may be reviewed manually by FAA administrators.
- FAA reserves the right to deny, revoke, or modify an FJAA membership if eligibility requirements are not met.
C. Membership Conversions
- Membership fees are non-refundable once activated.
- In some cases, a membership may be converted to a different membership type if appropriate.
- Example: An FJAA Individual membership purchased for someone under age 13 may be converted to an FJAA Family membership with an adult sponsor.
- Conversions are handled at FAA’s discretion and do not constitute a refund.
3. Payments & Billing
- Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, including Stripe.
- FAA does not store full credit card numbers.
- FAA is not responsible for payment processor errors, declines, outages, or delays.
- Payments made by check must be received and verified before membership activation or order fulfillment.
4. Refund Policy
A. Memberships
- Memberships are non-refundable once activated.
- Refunds are not provided for unused time or partial-year memberships.
B. Advertising Purchases
- Advertising purchases are non-refundable, except when FAA is unable to fulfill the advertisement.
- Once artwork has been submitted or ad fulfillment has begun, refunds will not be issued unless FAA determines fulfillment is not possible.
C. Events
- Event registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
- If an event is cancelled, refund or credit options will be communicated by FAA.
5. Advertising Content
- Members are responsible for the accuracy and legality of submitted advertising content.
- Uploaded artwork must not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.
- FAA reserves the right to reject or remove advertising that violates policies or standards.
6. Youth Accounts & Parental Responsibility
- Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising youth accounts.
- Parents or guardians are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted for minors.
- FAA is not responsible for misuse of youth accounts by parents or guardians.
7. Member Directories & Visibility
- Some membership directories are publicly visible (FAA, Allied, Sponsors, Board members).
- FJAA member directories are restricted to FJAA members and authorized administrators.
- Members are responsible for any information they choose to display publicly.
- FAA is not responsible for third-party contact or communications resulting from directory listings.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the website or its content
- Attempt to scrape, harvest, or automate access to directory data
- Upload harmful, unlawful, or infringing content
- Interfere with site security or functionality
9. Account Suspension & Termination
FAA may suspend or terminate accounts, memberships, or access if:
- These Terms are violated
- Eligibility requirements are not met
- Content or behavior is inappropriate or harmful
In cases of violation, termination may occur without refund.
10. Changes to These Terms
FAA may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
