FJAA Scholarship Program

The FJAA Scholarship Program was established to support the educational advancement of young Angus breeders and ranchers as they pursue post-secondary studies. The scholarship recognizes academic achievement, leadership in agriculture, and active involvement in Angus breed promotion and youth programs.
The program is open to eligible high school seniors and college students who are current members of both the Florida Junior Angus Association (FJAA) and the National Junior Angus Association (NJAA), and who have demonstrated commitment to Angus project work, community involvement, and participation in FJAA activities such as annual field days.
Scholarships are awarded annually based on a combination of academic performance, leadership experience, service in Angus and related agricultural organizations, and the quality of the scholarship application and supporting materials. Applicants must submit a complete application packet — including letters of recommendation, official transcripts, and photos documenting their Angus involvement — by the established deadline.
Through this program, the FJAA seeks to invest in the next generation of Angus industry leaders by helping them achieve their educational goals and encouraging continued engagement in the beef cattle community.
