The Third Annual University of Florida IFAS Extension Central Florida Livestock Agents Group Pasture Management School will be held April 14 & 15 2016 at the Pasco County Fairgrounds in Dade City Florida. This two day school will cover many aspects of managing pastures in Florida for grazing livestock. Topics will be taught by University of Florida Faculty and local experienced pasture management experts. Topics covered will include: soils, fertilization, climate effects, diseases, varieties, measuring forage quantity & quality, poisonous pasture plants, weed management, and insects. Field trips will be taken to see real world application.

Pesticide CEU’s have been applied for. Lunch for both days, break refreshments, and notebooks provided with registration. Program sponsored by Growers Fertilizer Corporation, Dow Agrosciences, Singletary Farms, Jack Melton Family Farm.
